VOLUNTEER!
All volunteers get free admission to music. If you wish to volunteer, there are many areas and ways you can help and become part of our Fiesta Family. We hope to have all volunteers work for a 2 hour shift. If we do not get enough volunteers, that is not always possible. The event is from 4-8 but we will need to set up at 3:00 Volunteers needed and where: Translator: As you can see we are in desperate need of a translator for these web pages. Please volunteer to translate these pages! Soliciting donations of food, Silent Auction items or money. We are looking for Sponsors, for restaurants to donate food and Latino themed Silent Auction items. We have letters available to give to potential donors stating our non-profit status as well as the benefits of donating to us. Public Relations help publicize this fun event to the general public! Postcards, Posters, Flyers and Invitations all need to be distributed. Decorations Although we have an amazing decorating committee, they can always use help making decorations and especially, putting them up in the cafeteria and gym. Set up. 3:00-4:00 help with tables, carting food, setting up the Auction, etc. Runner /Gopher will be on hand at the beginning to get things we forgot like extra plates, etc. Parking Coordinators make sure the cars use the space efficiently and don't block anyone in. Playground Monitors watch children that come out to play on the playground. Kids must be kept out of the cars that will be parking on the rest of the playground area. Stairway Monitors will keep children from going up to the second floor. Ticket Sellers will be selling tickets for either the music or food areas. Music will be stamping hands. Food will be patiently explaining how the food tickets work. Food Servers (minimum 2 per table) will accept tickets for entrees and dish up food. See our food page for which countries will have booths this year. We need someone to staff the Entertainer's table back stage (mingle with the stars!) Beverages table will be handing out cans and pouring drinks as well. Door persons (hand stamp checkers) will be checking people's hand stamps as they enter the gym to listen to the music. Silent Auction volunteers will assist in monitoring the auction, setting up and taking down. Children's Art Activity Tables. Our capable After School Art Teachers will be monitoring the kids but we need more people to help the kids and keep the tables somewhat organized. Selling Tee-shirts. People staffing this table will be accepting money or checks for Tee shirts. Are you good at guessing sizes? Clean up 8:00-8:30 This group will help put away food, stray paper plates, tables, etc. |

Decoraciones. Aunque tengamos un comité fantástico de decorar, ellos siempre necesitan ayuda con haciendo decoraciones y también especialmente, los instalando en el cafeteria y gimnasio. Limpiadores. 8:00-8:30 Este grupo ayudará a guardar alimento, limpiar y llevar mesas, etc. |
