SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 INTER-AMERICAN MAGNET SCHOOL (IAMS), a national model for dual language/multicultural education, and the only public school to ever be founded by parents, is proud to announce its 30th anniversary. As part of an ongoing celebration, the school is hosting an evening of world music, dance, food and art activities on April 1, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The event will take place on the school campus, located at 919 West Barry, between Clark St. and Sheffield Ave. in Chicago’s Lake View neighborhood. The lineup currently includes local artists folkloric dance troupe Tierra Colombiana and several other groups. The goal is to raise $20,000 with an audience of 350+ including community members and leaders, educators, families, politicians and other VIP supporters. Proceeds will support the school mission to advance academic excellence through bilingualism and multiculturalism.
